A new lunch hot spot with a menu inspired by 'Partager' – the French art of sharing, has re-opened its doors at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. Garden Court Restaurant will provide busy Sydneysiders a new haunt for business meetings and long lunches with a range of delectable plates designed to share.
Executive Chef, Boris Cuzon has called on his French heritage to craft a selection of dishes that will transport guests to the gardens of Paree.
The new menu showcasing French flair, features an array of seafood, meat and vegetarian sharing boards for starters, followed by mouth-watering mains including slow roasted lamb shank, duck confit and steamed mussels, all combined with traditional sides such as duck-fat chips and Paris mashed potato.
For the grand finale, those with a sweet tooth can devour a display of mini French pastries, or for cheese lovers the Fromager's trolley stocked with imported and local cheese, breads, pastes, dried fruits and nuts won't disappoint. Wine connoisseurs have the pick of the bunch with an outstanding wine menu and knowledgeable team that will take guests on a journey through the varietals of French wine flavours.
Sofitel Sydney Wentworth's General Manager, Wayne Taranto said: “Sofitel's ethos combines the best of local ingredients with French gastronomy, flair and culture, and we believe that Cuzon's sharing plates will please those who like to try a bit of everything.”
With a modern and light filled dining room and open kitchen overlooking the hotel's beautiful garden courtyard, guests can sit, relax and enjoying each other's company while watching the kitchen theatre unfold.
Garden Court Restaurant is located on the 5th floor of the hotel, in the heart of the CBD with lunch available from Monday to Friday between 12pm to 2pm.
