This summer, QT Melbourne is serving a game set to match the on-court action at The Australian Open. Not only will the hotel's popular dining destinations be the place to see and be seen pre, during and post-match, but QT Melbourne will be (un)officially responsible for keeping tennis-goers hydrated in partnership with Aperol Spritz this Summer.

Kicking off from January 3rd, the Russell Street lobby to The Rooftop will become an oasis with activations throughout the hotel, decorated with splashes of Aperol-orange. The ground floor lobby's Cake Shop will transform into a country club in the city, featuring green turf and white furniture and serving Aperol Spritz exclusively.  Meanwhile on level 11, The Rooftop at QT will embrace the Australian Open spirit with a life-size bright orange tennis court installed next to the bar. Guests will have the chance to win their very own Grand Slam, with Nintendo Wiis fixed to the screens for virtual matches. 

Games aside, racquets down means more hands for a drink, and naturally The Rooftop at QT will have hydration needs covered with a special 'Club Aperol' menu. Alongside the classic Spritz, the QT Rooftop team will be mixing spritz and other cocktails that highlight Aperol's versatility. The Paloma In Venice will be a crowd favorite, mixed with Aperol, Espolon Tequila and topped with Grapefruit Soda.

After working up an appetite, guests can tuck into the delicious Rooftop at QT menu including Mozzarella & Herb Arancini, Korean Sticky Wings & Drums and a selection of cured meats and cheese. With stunning views across Melbourne's city skyline, revelers can refresh and refuel whilst watching all the action play out on the big screen.

In addition, guests attending the matches will be able to step out of their designer rooms and slip into a designer ride, courtesy of QT Hotel's automotive partner, BMW Group Australia. QT Melbourne guests will have exclusive access to a luxury shuttle service in a BMW X4 ensuring they arrive to Melbourne Park in style.

Club Aperol will kick off from Friday the 3rd of January – 2nd of February 2020.

The Rooftop at QT opens from midday, Monday-Friday and from 2pm on weekends.
