Cruise Passenger Magazine

Big Splash Media is the new publisher of Cruise Passenger Magazine - a strong brand with a proud history of partnership with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and the travel industry.

Through its new subsidiary, Cruise Media Australasia, the company has ambitious plans to grow across all platforms.

The management team is headed up by Peter Lynch, former travel publisher at Fairfax Media and editor-in-chief and publisher at Big Splash Media.  Lynch is an award-winning journalist, writer and editor.

Teresa Ooi, former senior business writer with The Australian, is managing editor, and Sally Macmillan continues with the team.

Also on board is Commercial Manager Leisa Chell, manager of travel at News Ltd for many years and a former Scenic marketing manager.

Big Splash Media has a strong track record of successfully publishing to high net worth individuals online and in print, and owns a national superannuation magazine.

 "Cruise Passenger is alone in its market demographic, a proudly independent publication talking to those who love cruise or are about to embark on their first trip," says Lynch. "It has a base of 75,000 in print and online, and we look forward to working with the industry to grow this audience.

The website is already up and running, and a fortnightly newsletter will continue to carry news, deals and reviews.
