Italy Family Adventure: Rome to Amalfi [NEW FOR 2015]
Fun, active and engaging – these are the essential elements of this new, carefully researched trip, packed full of activities to enrapture the whole family: make the perfect Neapolitan pizza, find your favourite gelato flavour, hike to the top of the Mount Vesuvius volcano, swim at the picturesque beach in Positano, visit a ceramics workshop, and take a boat to the island of Capri and indulge in a typical southern Italian lunch at a family run vineyard. The trip is accompanied by an expert local guide and is suitable for children as young as 8.

Italy Family Adventure (8 days) departs June-September, from £950 per adult/£870 per child

Piedmont on Foot [NEW FOR 2015]
There is no better way to explore a region so famous for its gourmet traditions than on foot. Sample gourmet pleasures – including Alba truffles, excellent cheeses, the renowned Barolo and Barbaresco wines and of course the rich gianduia chocolate – as you walk through Piedmont's hazelnut forests, fertile lands and rolling hills. With the backdrop of the snow-capped Alps, the verdant countryside is dotted with small picturesque villages, elegant castles, feudal towers and frescoed chapels.

Piedmont on Foot (8 days) departs March-November, except August, from £660 per person

Puglia Guided Walk [NEW FOR 2015]
Fancy spending a couple of nights at a traditional 'trullo', with its typical conical roof? Puglia, Italy's 'heel' and its gateway to the Orient, is a land forged in history, most famous for the village of Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that feels lost in time. Historically cut off from the rest of Italy (there is no Ferrovie dello Stato or national railway), it has gained international fame for its ancient town, the 'Sassi di Matera', one of the first human settlements in Italy. The houses here are dug into the rock and the streets in some parts are located on the rooftops of other houses! www.utracks.com/index.php?section=trips&id=2676051
Puglia Guided Walk (8 days) departs May-November, from £990 per person

Food Lover's Francigena Way [NEW FOR 2015]
A visit to Italy is worth it for the food alone and this new two-week itinerary from Parma to Rome combines one of the country's most fascinating walking trails in a culturally and historically rich region with the essence of its famous culinary scene. Through beautiful Tuscan landscapes, visit quintessentially Italian Florence and explore the medieval fortified citadels of Siena and San Gimignano. The trip includes a visit to a Prosciutto factory, wine tastings at ancient monasteries and imposing estates, as well as hands-on cooking classes to learn the secrets of Italian cuisine.

Food Lover's Francigena Way (14 days) departs June-October, except August, from £2,690 per person

Western Sicily on Foot [NEW FOR 2015]
Less than 100 miles from Tunisia, the western side of Sicily offers an eclectic mix of culture, natural landscapes and history, including Selinunte, the largest archaeological site in Europe. Suitable for children as young as 8, this new walk showcases the Mediterranean countryside in a unspoilt environment of coves, caves and impressive rock walls at the Zingaro and Monte Cofano Nature Reserves. Trip highlights range from the wild island of Levanzo to the narrow streets of Trapani and the local market in Mazara del Vallo, as well as a visit to the old tuna fishery 'Tonnara di Scopello'.
