It's the season for love and 2018 is shaping up to be one of the biggest to celebrate all things love. Destination Tweed are proud to support the good folk at Tweed Coast Weddings who have come up with a novel idea to capture the hearts of couples on their special day.

The inaugural 'Tweed Coast Wedding Trail' to be held on January 21 is a showcase of the leading venues across the Tweed from the coast to the valley. With up to 11 properties and 70 local suppliers participating there will be something for everyone, from stylish sit down formal settings to valley properties that can host a festival of love, street food style.

James Mason organiser and owner of Tweed Coast Weddings said “ The trail will co-incide with the launch of the newly branded Tweed Coast Weddings a portal for both couples and wedding guests to research the Tweed Coast and all that's on offer”

Summergrove Estate in Carool is participating in the trail and recently hosted one of Australia's first legal gay marriages to national acclaim. The property is perched high above Carool offering a plantation style chapel, contemporary barn and function space-all with spectacular vista views across the valley to the ocean beyond.

The Tweeds newest venue set to open in March 'Ancora' will be hosting an exclusive showing for the 'Tweed Wedding Trail', along with all the best local suppliers including caterers, stylists, florists and musicians.

Santai Resort Casuarina are offering accommodation packages for the weekend and with over 300 couples already registered, the inaugural event is proving to be a success.
