French Speaking Hoteliers to Assess Post-Covid Realities in September

Bidroom

I Meet Hotel industry event adopts hybrid format in Paris to chart way forward for hospitality sector.

The I Meet Hotel industry event will take place 15 September in Paris. In a sign of the times, the B2B gathering will adopt an innovative hybrid format combining face-to-face discussions and online participation. The new format may be the shape of things to come for hotels and international business conferences.

The event, which will attract leading French speakers in hospitality, will give hoteliers and consultants the chance to take stock of a hospitality sector unrecognisable from the start of the year.

Frontline hospitality operators will address specific post-Covid challenges and new opportunities in revenue optimization, technology, innovative business models, post-Covid marketing, and customer loyalty.

There will also be a session on tourism strategies for destination France.

“We will hear straight talking by industry leaders. They will emphasise the opportunities that new operating realities present,” said Caroline Dal'lin, Director of Business Development of Bidroom, the organiser of I Meet Hotel.

The innovative hybrid event has been designed to attract a global French-speaking audience without borders.

Since its inception in 2018, I Meet Hotel has run four face to face events in Warsaw, Krakow, Istanbul and Amsterdam. Then, responding to the Covid crisis since March, I Meet Hotel held seven webinars showing how hoteliers can save money and survive by adapting their HR, marketing, sustainability, partner, and CRM processes. Those insights for hoteliers are available here.

Bidroom's CEO Michael Ros said that whether face-to-face or virtually, I Meet Hotel's overarching aim was to help hoteliers extend networks, build business, create new partnerships, and adopt sustainable practices.

“Combining simultaneous virtual streaming and a socially-distanced face-to-face meeting, I Meet Hotel is bringing the future of hospitality into the present,” said Ros. “It's a new model for hoteliers and meeting planners to try out.”
