Le Saint-James, a contemporary Relais & Chateaux hotel in Bouliac is embracing the 'mateymoon' by offering groups of 6 or more who are staying at the hotel free wine tasting or a free cookery lesson with lunch at their state of the art cookery school. Examples of some of the wines that may be tasted are one white, Château Carbonnieux 2011 – Pessac Léognan, a red Ségla 2004 – Margaux, as well as the hotel's own red merlot, Le Vin Du Jardin.

The hotel's gastronomic restaurant is headed up by Michelin starred chef Nicolas Magie and is widely regarded as one of the finest restaurants in the Aquitaine region. The hotel also owns a fabulous traditional French bistro that's just a short walk from the hotel in the village. The bistro sells rotisserie dishes and a tantalising selection of homemade desserts that attract visitors from far and wide.
