From August 2, 2017 Fred & Ginger Catering, an innovative Melbourne-based catering company will provide a new selection of dining experiences to the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel for hosted, private cabin hire, functions and meetings in The Star Room, Boardroom and major events on the Piazza.
Fred & Ginger is celebrated for its work at Melbourne Food and Wine Festival's House of Food and Wine, catering at major events such as City2Sea and Portsea Polo along with their regular high profile corporate and private cleints.
Guests to the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel will now have the opportunity to enjoy freshly made hampers, platters, cocktail parties and even an intimate sit-down dinner of seasonal and sustainable produce, while gliding 120 metres above Melbourne, taking in the magnificent city scape and views out to Mornington and the Yarra Valley.
Pre-purchased cabin hampers start from $24.00 per person (for a minimum of 10 guests) and include a variety of options including the Light Flight, Lunch Hampers, Star Hamper and a selection of Shared Hampers that can include cheese, Japanese and French inspired platters and much much more.
The Melbourne Star Observation Wheel has three impressive venue spaces for hire, offering an array of catering options for distinctly Melbourne events. From a private cabin for two – 14 guests, a Star Boardroom event for up to 20 people or a banquet style event for up to 250 people in the Star Room – there are options to suit any size and style of event.
