Seeing off competition from the concierge at the Mar Hall Hotel & Golf Resort, Francisco took top prize at the annual awards.

Francisco has been a concierge at Old Town Chambers for just over a year, and previously worked as Airline Cabin Crew for British Airways.  From April 2016, Francisco's approach to customer service and his knowledge of Edinburgh as a destination is superb.

Speaking about his award, Francisco said: “It's such an honour to be recognised by the Scottish Hotel Awards for doing a job which I love.

“A concierge can often be the first port of call for people visiting a city, so I take great pride in ensuring that our guests have the best experience when visiting Scotland's capital, whether for a long or short break.  I always enjoy meeting our guests and seeing how much they love visiting Edinburgh.”

Old Town Chambers is managed by Lateral City, which also runs the Merchiston Residence and is currently renovating the former RBS headquarters on St Andrew Square into The Edinburgh Grand, which is due to open towards the end of the year.
