The world is speeding up and many are eager to slow down to find balance in this haste. Guests at Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen are invited to tap into their full potential of living well, both physically and spiritually, through the Hotel's lifestyle program, which hinges on the mantra “be you.”
The program focuses on the overall concept of wellness as a state of mind. Reconnecting with oneself, bringing the body back to balance, self-care and mindfulness; a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being.
Working with a team of experts both internally and from the outside, the Hotel has developed the program with the notion that wellness starts from taking care of oneself, debunking the stereotype that it is solely about eating healthy and exercising.
The launch invites guests to “tune out and tune in to oneself” with a suite of experiences and activities that let the mind take a break from the everyday stress and regain "Chi" - whether cooking up a new recipe, learning how to paint or even simply trying out a different exercise routine.
Suite Retreat – Second Night Free
- Until December 31, 2019
Get away from the hustle and retreat into a spacious suite abode. Experience the suite life with a complimentary second night, as well as exclusive access to healthy meal alternatives and superfoods in the Executive Club on the 29th floor. Guests are invited to luxuriate in some much-needed downtime and embark on their own wellness journey with special lululemon in-room “fit kit” along with workout videos by Four Seasons Global Advisor Harley Pasternak, a CNY 200 spa credit and pampering skincare amenities from the Hotel's Four Seasons Oasis Bathroom Natura Bissé skincare collection.
On Property Wellness Activities and Dining Options
Guests can choose to partake in the Hotel's existing recreational activities to find their peace and re-connect. Make every breath count when mastering the art of “meditation in motion” with sunrise or sunset yoga and Tai Chi classes. Choose to meditate in the calm of the Hotel's indoor studio sanctuary or be one with nature at the outdoor multilevel Terraces. Alternatively, feel the calming strokes of traditional or modern water colour Chinese painting and calligraphy with the Hotel's resident artist Mo Baipeng, or take a break and relax the body with Yue Spa's signature Eaglewood treatment, featuring Asian eaglewood, a dark resinous wood formed in the heartwood of aquilaria trees. Ambient scenting with eaglewood incense creates a comfortable environment while enjoying a relaxing foot bath with eaglewood oil, followed by a soothing body massage. To round off the experience, a special brew of aromatic Chinese tea is served for mindful reflections and post-spa calm and serenity.
Other activities include swimming lessons in the indoor or outdoor pools, as well as paddleboard yoga and the opportunity to embrace the flowing Vinyasa-style of hot yoga - all of which are available for private or group classes.
In addition, the Hotel will also be introducing a host of other workout routines and classes such as body pump, body combat and more, through seasonal classes with lululemon fitness trainers.
For a pre or post workout meal, the Hotel's award-winning restaurants and in-room dining service delivers palatable healthy options crafted by our culinary experts. Highlights include chef's beetroot and tomato soup, seared bluefin tuna loin and a superfood salad made with butternut squash, broccolini, pumpkin seeds, alfalfa and natural yoghurt.
