The Three Cities David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa will soon add a 192 seater conference centre to its already remarkable stable.
The news was announced by operations manager, Keith Rissik this week as he revealed details of the one of a kind venue. “We start laying foundation followed by construction first week in February 2014 and completion is set for the end of June 2014,” he said.
What makes this conference centre unique is of course its location, which is adjacent to the entrance from the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. “The actual conference room size is 12 metres by 20 metres and has its own Porte Couche’ entrance and arrival portal,” Rissik added.
“Included in the plan are rest rooms and a fully functional kitchen. These will be complemented with a full sound and AV system and Wi-Fi. The conference centre lies within two minutes’ walk from the main lodge.”
The state of the art conference facility, at maximum capacity, will accommodate 192 people in banquet set up. 138 guests can be accommodated in convention seating while 260 people can be seated comfortably in cinema style.
The award winning safari-styled, five-star Three Cities David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa is situated five kilometres from Zambia’s tourist hub, Livingstone, and eight kms from the splendid Victoria Falls, known as the Smoke that Thunders. With 72 tastefully decorated en-suite luxury rooms and five executive suites, The Three Cities David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa boasts some of the most spectacular views of the Zambezi from the private balconies.
