Our annual Spring golf event – open to just 26 pairings, is a fabulous weekend, focused around a friendly competition over two days and 36 holes of exciting golf (Saturday + Sunday), plus an optional and relaxing practice round (Friday) for those who arrive early. 

Golfers of all levels are encouraged to grab a partner, husband/wife, friend, son or daughter and join in this fun and active Hawke's Bay weekend. Singles may also join in, as the Cape Kidnappers team will organise pairings.

For golf lovers, playing three days of golf in early Spring at the renowned Cape Kidnappers course may have been enough enticement, but to add to this fabulous package, Queenstown-based Chef and golf enthusiast Josh Emett (who will also play during the tournament) will cook the ultimate finale dinner as a highlight of the weekend on Saturday 25 October.

Josh is one of New Zealand's most popular chefs. With two restaurants in Queestown including the much acclaimed Rata as well as newcomer Madam Woo, Josh's warm smile, engaging good looks and immense talent in the kitchen make him a much sought after TV chef and culinary celebrity. His menu for The Farm at Cape Kidnappers features five sublime courses of his seasonal favourites from Rata.

Tariff is NZ$800.00 + GST per person per night for double occupancy* 
 
The two night package includes luxury suite accommodation, entry in the Cape Kidnappers Spring Tournament and attendance at the five course dinner by Josh Emett on Saturday evening. Also included in the package is daily pre dinner drinks and canapés, gourmet dinner, full breakfast and the complimentary practice round on Friday for interested guests.

* Minimum two night stay required for tournament entry.

For guests wishing to stay on additional nights either side of the tournament, a special tariff* of $600.00 per person per night + 15% GST is available to Couples Golf Weekend guests.

* Tariff for additional nights includes pre-dinner drinks, dinner, and breakfast: rate does not include wine with dinner, spa or golf and this exclusive rate is only available to those participating in the special event.

All rates are quoted per person per night based on double occupancy, in NZ Dollars and exclusive of 15% Govt. Goods & Services Tax. For Single Occupancy add NZ$400.00 + GST per night.
