About Mount Lofty House:

Originally built between 1852-1858 as a cool summer residence by Adelaide politician and lawyer Arthur Hardy, today Mount Lofty House is regarded as one of South Australia's most outstanding country house hotels and conference retreat destinations. 

Rebuilt in the 1980's following damage from the Ash Wednesday fires that ravaged the area, Mount Lofty House boasts eight rooms in the original heritage wings while rooms in the Piccadilly wing overlooking the Piccadilly Valley bring the total number of rooms and suites to 33.
