Experienced boutique tour operator Footsteps in Asia (FIA) will provide travelers on scheduled tours with Kumuka Worldwide with up to 25% discount on its popular tours to Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos on a case by case basis.

The booking must be made by travel agents who book online FIA tours by 1 September 2012 for tours taken by 31 Jan 2013.

The offer follows a recent decision by FIA to continue its strong travel agent support by extending its offer of 15% commissions to travel agencies who sign to book online FIA tours. 

Wholesale tour provider and FIA CEO John Powell said Footsteps in Asia had been in contact with travel agents across the travel sector caught up in the fall-out from Kumuka's difficulties.

"Our travel agent and agency partners are looking for strong support.  They are often caught in the middle when a wholesaler gets itself into difficulties and often suffer from cancelations and consumer concerns.  FIA will continue to stand beside them during these times and provide tangible support."
