Adventure travel specialists Footloose Travel are offering an exclusive discount for female customers in celebration of Women's Equality Day.

The specialist travel company will be providing a £184 saving on all bookings made by female customers on Tuesday 29th August, to commemorate Women's Equality Day which falls over the bank holiday weekend on Sunday 27th August.

The saving of £184 has been chosen in line with the 18.4% national annual pay gap between men and women in the UK.

The new offer from Footloose Travel also comes at a time when the company are experiencing an increase in bookings from solo female travellers.

In 2017/18 so far, 58% of solo bookings made with the specialist travel company have come from women.

The issue of the pay gap in the UK has been a key topic of conversation in 2018, after 10,000 large firms provided details of their gender pay gap for the first time ever earlier this year.

The median pay gap in the UK is 18.4% based on the hourly wage for both full and part-time workers.

The Footloose offer is available for all bookings made by female customers on Tuesday 29thAugust only. The offer is available on all Footloose own brochure products with a minimum value of £1500 per person excluding flights. Full terms and conditions of the offer will be provided when booking.
