Follow the footsteps of Richard Hammond and spend a night up a tree in the Amazon Jungle

Former Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond headed to the Amazon rainforest a couple of months ago with our partners Tropical Tree Climbing to journey into the rainforest and fulfil a lifelong dream to photograph some of the planet's most amazing creatures in Richard Hammond's Jungle Quest.

During his two-part series for Sky 1, Richard trekked through the steamy Amazon jungle, tackled the mighty River, slept rough under the forest canopy and was hoisted hundreds of feet to the top of Amazon trees, in a bid to get the perfect wildlife shot.

Viewing the Amazon from on top of a tree is an amazing experience and offers a totally different view of the forest than is ordinarily possible.

You will be able to climb up to 200 feet above the forest floor and marvel over your chance to move among the rainforest's native flora and fauna. From the top you can gaze out over the forest canopies at the exotic birds and spectacular wildlife, finding natural mosquito repellent.

If the weather is clement then you can sleep in hammocks at the top of the tree and this is perfectly safe due to the stringent safety procedures used by our instructors who will harness you to the tree.
