Dorchester Collection's iconic British hotel The Dorchester is delighted to announce designer florist Phil Hammond has won the prestigious Acorn Award, acknowledged as a rising star in hospitality.
Now in its 28th year, the Acorn Awards recognise thirty of the brightest prospects in the hospitality industry under the age of 30 who were presented with the accolade at the annual event on Monday 2 June. The youthful high-achievers are nominated by their peers from several sectors of the hospitality industry for making an impression in their field.
Speaking at the event which is run in association with ACT Clean, founder and owner Robert Beaugie said: "We would like to extend our congratulations, not only to each and every winner, but also to those nominated. Each winner joins a very elite band of the highest achievers in our industry and should be very proud.”
Hammond commented; “I am extremely touched to have been nominated for this award and honoured to have been amongst the winners.”
