Given the ongoing uncertainty, we're sorry to say that Floriade, Australia's biggest celebration of Spring will not proceed in Commonwealth Park, Canberra in 2021 due to ongoing COVID-19 outbreaks both in the ACT and in surrounding NSW.

Canberran's will still have the opportunity to enjoy a burst of spring colour throughout the capital's city centre and suburbs with over 400 planter boxes and pots that were destined for Commonwealth Park to be redistributed throughout the community.

The boxes and pots, containing over 60,000 blooms, will brighten the city and supplement the 300,000 bulbs and annuals already planted by schools, community groups and organisations as part of Floriade Community.

There will be bulbs in bloom in Commonwealth Park through spring, but the ACT Government is discouraging large scale gatherings at this time.
