The Italian National Tourist Board is pleased to announce for the seventh year running the Italian Tourist Board Travel Writing Awards (UK). The best travel pieces in each of the categories below, the best travel guide and the best overall publication will be awarded with a prize at Getti Italian Restaurant in Marylebone on 11 February 2014.

CATEGORIES

· Best newspaper article: daily or weekend issue, (including on-line version articles).

· Best magazine article:  travel magazines, consumer magazines (travel section) or trade publication, (including on-line version articles).

· Best article published on travel or lifestyle (travel section) websites 

· Best travel photography as part of a travel article: newspaper, magazine or on-line articles.

· Best travel guide to Italy, Italian region/area or city: print, apps or podcasts.

· Special category: Best overall publication for number and quality of articles onItaly.

AWARDS  CRITERIA

• All articles must be travel and tourism pieces on Italy in general or on a specific Italian city, region or area and must have been published by a newspaper daily or weekend issue, travel or consumer magazine, travel trade magazine (on-line included), travel or lifestyle websites in Great Britain between 1st January and 31st December 2013.
• Travel guide books, apps and podcasts must be new editions on Italyin general, an Italian region or area or a specific city and they must have been published in Great Britainbetween 1st January and 31st December 2013.

ENTRY METHOD

• Fill in the attached form and send your article or guide by post to us at : Press Department, ITB Travel Awards, Italian National Tourist Board, 1,Princes Street,LondonW1B  2AY. For online articles you can send the link via e-mail together with your application form duly completed.
• Closing date: 31st December 2013.
