The Five-Star Spa at Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco recommends taking time for oneself before the rush of the busy holiday season begins. In November and December, book a Two-Hour Time Ritual and receive a complimentary Carboxi-Express Facial valued at USD 110 on a return visit. Carboxitherapy is a technique that employs CO2 to combat the signs of aging, perfect before a special event so that skin glows. On Black Friday, November 28, the Spa will offer 50-minute Oriental Essence or Therapeutic Massages for the special price of USD 125 plus gratuities and Carboxi-Express Facials for the special price of USD 99 plus gratuities. A 20% discount on spa retail products will also be available for the day so that guests can start stocking up on stocking stuffers and other holiday gifts. For the month of December, the Spa will also offer the following promotions:

• Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice – This two-hour experience includes a customized sugar scrub followed by a full body massage utilizing hydrating body butter with a selection of holiday inspired scents.
• Holiday PediBar – Guests can create a custom 60-minute pedicure by selecting a foot soak, scrub, and lotion from our festive scent collection.
• Book any 80-minute Natura Bisse Facial and receive a complimentary peppermint paraffin hand treatment.

Festive Dining at Brasserie S&P

Executive Chef Adam Mali has created a tasty four-course Thanksgiving Dinner menu with seasonal specialties that will be offered at Brasserie S&P on November 27, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The menu is priced at USD 85 per person plus USD 45 for wine pairings. A children's menu will be available for those 10 and under priced at USD 25. Guests will receive a house made seasonal fruit scone made from farm-fresh ingredients upon departure.

Brasserie S&P will also serve Afternoon Tea on Saturdays and Sundays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. beginning December 6 through December 28, 2014. Enjoy a variety of world-class teas from Jing accompanied by an assortment of savory and sweet delights. A Bubbly Tea, Holiday Tea and Children's Tea will be available with prices from USD 55 to USD 25. 

On Christmas Eve, experience a scrumptious three-course dinner available at USD 75 plus USD 35 for wine pairings from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. A traditional holiday meal with all the trimmings will be served on Christmas Day from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is priced at USD 85 per person for a four-course menu, plus USD 45 for wine pairings.

Ho-Ho-Homes for the Holidays

Executive Chef Adam Mali and his culinary team are pleased to once again be hosting the Ho-Ho-Homes for the Holidays event on December 7, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Adults and children alike can embrace the holiday spirit and let their imaginations run free with a gingerbread house decorating workshop featuring icing of all colors, sprinkles, candy canes, gum drops, licorice and more. The Ho-Ho-Homes for the Holidays experience includes:

• Two hours of gingerbread house decorating
• Chef's hat and apron for the children
• Hot chocolate “bar” and holiday cookies
• Carry boxes to transport finished houses home
• Festive cocktails and small plates will be available for purchase for parents to enjoy
