Festival Fun Gets Underway In Breckenridge, Colorado

Running until October 2015, Breckenridge in Colorado is set to host a packed calendar of late summer and autumn festivals, which will draw cultural enthusiast to the beautiful Rocky Mountain destination.  The mountain town's average temperature of 22 degrees makes it an ideal location for outdoor festivals and experiencing the best of Breck, allowing visitors to enjoy everything from the annual Summer Beer Festival to the Festival of Film.

This season, Breckenridge Tourism Office has rounded up its top four outdoor festivals for visitors to experience on a visit to the adventurous mountain town.

Breckenridge Summer Beer Festival on 29 August 2015

The 10th Annual Breckenridge Summer Beer Festival is one of the premiere summer events in Breckenridge, taking place at Beaver Run Resort surrounded by stunning mountain views. Guest can enjoy samples from over 40 breweries topped off with live music, delicious food and local stalls. The Breckenridge Summer Beer Festival draws a wide range of people from beer aficionados to families looking for a fun-filled day. Tickets start from as little as £3 per person. 35th Annual Festival of Film from 17 - 20 September 2015

For over 25 years, Breckenridge Film Festival has celebrated the art of filmmaking. Every autumn, the mountain town in Colorado offers visitors the opportunity to experience an array of independent film premieres, receptions and educational programmes all taking place in the Colorado Rockies. Still on the Hill: Breckenridge Craft Spirits Festival from 23 - 25 October 2015

Every year over 30 distillers from Breckenridge gather for the Craft Spirits Festival. The first of its kind in Colorado, where visitors can create their own personalised shot glass and use them at the Still on The Hill Grand Tasting event, all whilst enjoying artisan snacks and live acoustic music.
