February is the month of love at 17th Century Stately Home, Carlton Towers, Yorkshire, with a Valentine's Sunday Lunch on 16th February and a one-off Romantic Retreat Weekend on 21st - 23rd February.

The country estate is opening its doors for couples to enjoy an afternoon of delicious food in the beautiful and intimate surroundings of Carlton Towers, which is the much-loved home of Lord & Lady Gerald Fitzalan Howard.

The talented Carlton chefs will be creating their take on traditional dishes such as Ham Hock Terrine with Red Onion Marmalade and Hot Buttered Toast, and Roast Sirloin of Carlton Estate Beef with Honey Glazed Root Vegetables and Yorkshire Pudding. 

Couples can appreciate the stunning 17th Century ambience as they dine in one of the beautiful staterooms, which boast ornate painted ceilings, family portraits and elaborate silver chandeliers.

If guests would like the opportunity to stay overnight at the usually exclusive hire Carlton Towers, the country estate is opening its doors for one weekend only, for a 'Romantic Retreat' between 21st - 23rd February.

The dinner, bed and breakfast package costs £120 per person per night, and this includes a stay in one of 15 stunning suites decorated by Lady Gerald Fitzalan Howard herself.

Ladies can indulge in a spot of pampering at the on-site spa treatment room, Lusso, with stunning views over the estate. Whether it is a simple pedicure or a deep tissue massage, spa manager Kirsty Tomlinson can provide bespoke treatments to ensure guests are left feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Gentlemen can enjoy a selection of country pursuits in the grounds of Carlton Towers. There are over 250 acres of private parkland for guests to explore during their time at the Grade I listed manor.

A romantic Sunday Lunch at Carlton Towers costs £32.50 per person on Sunday 16th February, and is subject to availability.
