Treat dad and the family to a memorable lunch or dinner at one of the hotel's Michelin star restaurants, which include Yan Toh Heen (2 Michelin stars) and THE STEAK HOUSE winebar + grill and SPOON by Alain Ducasse (both 1-Michelin star). Alternatively, enjoy the innovative new style Japanese cuisine of NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong or elaborate international lunch and dinner buffets at Harbourside. SPOON Father's Day Lunch

The 1-Michelin star SPOON by Alain Ducasse offers a sophisticated, yet relaxed dining experience for Father's Day Lunch with a new all-inclusive lunch experience showcasing traditional French delicacies created by our SPOON Executive Chef Stéphane Gortina and Pastry Chef Oliver Lannes.

Begin with a selection of Viennoiseries and homemade bakery items (Croissants, pain au chocolat, pain au raisin and toasted bread), served with farm fresh cottage cheese, jam and honey, plus homemade organic muesli. Next is a selection of homemade bread and bordier butter, served with organic eggs prepared any style (with black truffle, fresh herbs, wild mushrooms, green vegetables or organic bacon, and served with French Iberico Ham and Pickles and homemade Salmon Gravlax.

For the main course, enjoy Meat from the Carving Trolley, Steamed Wild Fillet of Fish and green vegetables or our Oven-baked Cookpot of cereal and local seasonal vegetables.

Next is a selection of matured cheese and crushed condiments, followed by fresh mixed berries, a choice of seasonal sorbet and ice cream. To conclude the experience is a selection of Paris-Parisiennes by Pastry Chef Oliver Lannes.   

The SPOON Sunday Lunch is inclusive of a welcome glass of Alain Ducasse Champagne or Burgey “Cerdon” (an exclusive  rosé sparkling wine by Bernard Rondeau), followed by wine with lunch (with a choice of 2 white wines and 2 red wines selected by Chief Sommelier Mathieu Ginglardi), plus fresh juices or mocktails  and freshly brewed coffee or tea.

Enjoy an 8-course set dinner HK$1,688 per person created by SPOON Executive Chef Stéphane Gortina showcasing Chilled langoustine consommé, Green vegetable salad, black truffle, Steamed duck foie gras, cherry, Quick-sautéed calamari, soft and crunchy tomato rice, Sautéed beef filet, girolles, mushroom-shallot-parsley, followed by a selection of matured cheese with crushed condiments, Apricot (sorbet) and finally, Chocolate from Alain Ducasse's Factory in Paris, crunchy praline.

 Enjoy Sommelier Mathieu Ginglardi's wine pairing for an additional HK$1,288 per person.

Father's Day Sunday Champagne Brunch  

Free-flowing Perrier-Jouet Champagne, beer, wine, fresh juices and soft drinks are just the start of Hong Kong's most elaborate Father's Day Brunch, with hand-made sushi and freshly sliced sashimi, lobster, “action stations” with Peking duck, pan-fried Foie Gras, Asian dishes, home-made Indian curries, Chinese noodles and Italian pasta, a carving station and freshly made dim sum. The buffet also includes a selection of the finest ham and salami from Italy and Spain and imported cheese from France.

A decadent dessert buffet includes crepes made-to-order and a chocolate fountain, plus an extravagant assortment of freshly baked pastries and cakes.

Father's Day Seafood Dinner Buffet                                                                                                    

If your dad loves seafood, he will adore our Seafood Dinner. InterContinental Hong Kong's Executive Chef Nicola Canuti, Harbourside Chef Calvin Choi and their team are seducing seafood lovers with this elaborate international buffet showcasing a myriad of ocean-fresh crustaceans, including Boston lobster, scallops, crab, yabbies, plus mussels, sea urchin, octopus, cobia and much more.

Especially for Father's Day, the Seafood Dinner will feature Live Stations with deep-fried live Crabs, Pan-seared Calamari and Boston Lobster. Special hot dishes will include Baked Abalone with Apple, Stir-fried Fish Stock, Sea Cucumber & Chinese Shitake Mushrooms, Bird's Nest and Shredded Abalone & Whelk Seafood Soup and Deep-Fried Oysters with salty chili. There will also be fresh Spanish Tuna Sashimi and a  Chinese Steamed Fish and Shellfish « Catch of  the Day »,  The Carving Station will feature Seafood Wellington and for beef lovers, Roasted US Long Bone Rib Eye. Other attractions include Pan-seared Duck Foie Gras and Iberico Bellato Ham. Sample an 8-course Omakase Dinner at HK$1,288 per person created by NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong Executive Chef Sean Mell.

The Omakase menu begins with Baby Ayu Karaage with yuzu pepper cucumber amazu and Lobster Tartar with lobster caviar and creamy shrimp oil, followed by, New Style Turban Shell Sashimi and Nama Toro Sashimi with an Iberico Beef Wrap. Next are a Sushi Assortment and White Fish & Uni Tempura with chili lime amazu ponzu. This is followed by Scallop & Foie Gras with yuzu soy mirin, and then Wagyu Beef Bibimbap with spicy den miso and pickled vegetables. To wind down the meal, Miso Soup and finally, for dessert, Banana Ice-cream Sphere with Amaretto Sabayon, chocolate feuilletine, expresso foam.

Bring the family to Yan Toh Heen to sample the acclaimed 2- Michelin star Cantonese cuisine of Executive Chef Lau Yiu Fai.

At lunchtime, select from a choice of two 6-course set menus (at HK$468 and HK$868 per person).

Alternatively enjoy the extensive à la carte selections (with a HK$300 minimum charge per person).

Father's Day Dinner

Chef Lau is creating a special 9-course Cantonese feast priced at HK$1,188 or HK$1,488 per person (depending on the choice of soups which include Double Boiled Fish Maw, Winter Melon and Conpoy Soup or Braised Imperial Bird's Nest Soup with Crabmeat Roe.

The special menu starts with Chilled Potato and Beetroot Soup with Scallops and Caviar, followed by Simmered Lobster with Chili Sauce. After your choice of soup, enjoy Steamed Garoupa Fillet with Preserved Olives and Mandarin Zest, followed by Wok-fried Grain Fed Beef with Spring Onion, Scallion, Garlic and Figs. Next is Braised Matsutake Mushrooms with White and Green Asparagus, followed by Fried Red Rice with Whole Abalone and Diced Chicken. For dessert, first Sweetened Walnut Cream with Bird's Nest is served with a Glutinous Rice Dumpling in Hokkaido Milk, followed by Chilled Red Bean Pudding with Gold Foil.

There is no place more spectacular to enjoy afternoon tea with dad than in InterContinental Hong Kong's Lobby Lounge, renowned for its dramatic panoramic views of VictoriaHarbour and Hong Kong Island. 

 On Sunday, June 21st, enjoy contemporary classical music performed by our quartet, while taking in the stunning views.

Our  Father's Day Afternoon Tea Set showcases Parisian style pastries (Cherry Amarena Cheese Cake, Strawberry Cake, Mixed-Pine & Green Apple Tart, Choco-Banana Cake and Guava/Passion Fruit/Mango Cake)   created by Executive Pastry Chef Cyril Dupuis. It also includes a selection of mini éclair sandwiches (ham, cheese & bacon; tuna & egg and duck foie gras & nuts, freshly baked warm scones with clotted cream and rose tea jelly and strawberry jam, all served with our selection of the finest international teas by Mariage Frère of France.  Mini ice-cream cones are passed around. On Father's Day (June 21st), the Tea Set will also include Chocolate Cigars.

The Father's Day Tea Set will be available throughout the month of June.

Alternatively try our “Red Box” Chinese tea set, which is a delicious Asian inspired alternative. Recharge and Refresh: 1 hour, 30 minutes – HK$1,830

This treatment is excellent to relieve back muscle tension while restoring hydration and purifying the face. Begin with a back massage using hot stones for deep relaxation. Next is a purifying face treatment with natural organic ingredients to improve skin texture and hydration. This is followed by a head massage performed while the face mask is on. The result is a sense of harmony from mind to soul.

Physical Rescue: 1 hour, 30 minutes – HK$1,550

 This is an excellent treatment to restore the energy flow on the head and to ground the energy on the feet. To begin, a soothing head massage releases tension and clears the mind. This is followed by an Oriental foot massage to relax tired feet. The journey helps to release physical tension and calms the mind.
