Looking for something fun to do with the children this half term? How about dog sledding or a Nordic adventure skills experience in Swedish Lapland? This three-night trip is jam-packed with adventure, perfect for old and young alike, and will transport you right into the heart of your very own winter wonderland. A host of excursions are included in the tour, such as a Nordic Adventure Skills session where you will walk by snowshoe into the nearby forest, learn how to make a fire in the snow and both cook and eat outdoors sat on reindeer hides.

Dog sledding beckons with a two-hour trip, guaranteed to be one of the highlights of your visit and create memories to last a lifetime. You will learn how to take control of the huskies and have the chance to drive the sled through snowy forests and upon frozen lakes.

The following day you can explore the frozen archipelago by snowmobile. This amazing tour spends four hours on the glistening ice with a stop along the way to try a little fishing and find out about life in the northern wilderness. A visit to Brändöskär, an idyllic fishing village dating from the 17th century, is also included.

Nights can be spent chasing the aurora, with an included snowshoe excursion, or getting cosy in front of the fire at the wooden-clad Brändön Lodge, overlooking the frozen sea.  Away from all artificial sources of light pollution, it is an excellent place from which to spot the Northern Lights should they grace the night sky.

Prices start from £1,650 per adult and £783 per child. This includes flights from London Heathrow to Luleå via Stockholm, transfers, accommodation at Brändön Lodge, breakfast, dinner and all above-mentioned activities.
