Baltic holidays are organising a Family Fam trip to Lithuania.

In addition to inviting journalists we want journalist's  children, or indeed grandchildren to come.

The trip will start 23-27 August, children's aged between 6 and 16.

So why is Lithuania a good place for children?

We will be doing lots of activities from kayaking to cycling to scuba diving to Water parks to skiing to high wires through forests.

We'll also be doing  cultural visits such as visiting the Cold war museum, a former soviet missile base where missiles were actually pointing  at the Uk.

To more eco friendly activities such as making bread and jam and having a break  away from play stations ,x boxes and ipods. It can be done. Whilst in one Manor house we will dress up for the day and live the life of  19th Century Lithuanian Noble men ,Ladies and ragamuffins: depending on the state of your children .

Oh and the food and ice creams are inexpensive. About half the price of Uk.

We can pay for one journalist plus child. You can bring more, including partner  but if so you'll need to pay for that extra persons flights. On the Lithuanian side as long as you can fit in one  room that's ok and won't have to pay any more.

It'll be fun but we'll be cramming a week's holiday into 4 nights, so hopefully you and children will be knackered in the end and  you'll have plenty to write about.
