For those with a sweet tooth, there will be brioche and butter pudding with Cointreau coulis, a smack on trend Nutella and tonka bean fondant, rum and raisin ice cream, green tea and blueberry financier with pink chocolate ganache, an Amaretto and lemon polenta cake and everyone's favourite, pink velvet cupcakes.

These are just a handful of the stand-out dishes that will be available at both lunch and dinner on Mother's Day.

In the hotel's Grand Ballroom, Toblerone trifle, salted caramel macarons, pink velvet cupcakes, oreo waffles made-to-order and chocolate-dipped strawberries will be served alongside classic scones, traditional miniature sandwiches and freshly brewed tea.

Meanwhile, at Aria Lounge, the high tea's Chocolate Bar will showcase an Opera torte with tropical Amer ganache, vanilla pannacotta with Dominican Republic white chocolate rocks and a Madagascar Park dark chocolate tart with sliced William pear. For those that prefer savoury dishes, smoked salmon pinwheel sandwiches, traditional cucumber ribbon sandwiches and classic cream cheese and chive sandwiches are destined to please.
