Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda, the luxury eco SPA Resort overlooking Lake Garda, is now offering a stylish way to explore the area and show their Guests their favourite spots around the lake on board its new Frauscher 1017 Lido motor boat.
Located high above the village of Gargnano with uninterrupted views, Lefay Resort is just a 15 minute drive from the lakeside.
During the two hour trip, Lefay's skipper can take Guests to the attractive lakeside town of Salò and guide them down the narrow streets to the resort's favourite ice cream parlour, La Casa del Dolce or to their recommended lakeside bar, Bar Italia for a Bellini or chilled prosecco and Aperol cocktail. Shoppers can explore the back streets of the pretty lakeside village for leather goods, Italian fashion labels and local honey, olive oil, wine and Limoncello.
Another pitstop is the small village of Gardone Riviera, with a little piazza sloping down to the lakeside and a charming historical centre uphill from the shore with views of the Lake. It's also home to the excessive and slightly mad memorial to the famously eccentric poet, Gabriele d'Annunzio.
Each trip is bespoke and Guests can choose to remain on board with cocktails or a picnic prepared by the chefs at Lefay Resort. Or they can use the boat to jet to one of the Lake's many music events and festivals including the Festival del Vittoriale (www.anfiteatrodelvittoriale.it) in July, featuring Joan Baez and The Lumineers. Sunset champagne cruises on the lake are also offered.
Ideal for groups of up to 10 people, the elegant lounge area that opens up in the bow can be transformed from dining area into a spacious area for lounging or sunbathing, with two large cushions located in the stern.
Prices start from € 365 for two hours sailing plus € 185 for a one hour stop, based on up to ten people.
Rooms at Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda start from Euros 290 per night and include breakfast, transfers to Gargnano, access to the pools and saunas and use of mountain bikes.
