This summer, Silversea Cruises is offering a variety of Mediterranean voyages aboard its luxury vessels.

 

On each cruise, travellers can look forward to exploring tiny islands and coastlines not frequented by larger cruise ships, as well as visiting landmark destinations.

The 296-guest Silver Cloud offers a nine-day cruise that sails from Monte Carlo to Piraeus (Athens) on 26 August 2013. The vessel is small enough to access some of the more secluded spots in the region, and stops at various ports including Livorno (gateway to Florence), Civitavecchia (Rome), Sorrento, Messina, Valletta, Nauplia and Mykonos. All-inclusive fares start from US$3,450 per person, double occupancy.

 

Round-trip Barcelona, Spain, voyage 2324

Get to know Barcelona and the neighbouring countries of France and Italy aboard the Silver Wind. This seven-day voyage departs from Barcelona on 2 August 2013, and sails up the coast to Sete and Ajaccio (Corsica) in France; Alghero (Sardinia), before sailing back to Barcelona via Porto Mahon, Palma De Mallorca and Valencia. All-inclusive fares start from US$3,150 per person, double occupancy.

 

Venice, Italy to Piraeus (Athens), Greece, voyage 5328

Embark on this eight-city tour from Venice to Athens on board the 540-guest Silver Spirit. The nine-day journey starts on 10 September 2013 and offers a cultural experience like no other, with stops at Zadar and Dubrovnik in Croatia; Kotor in Montenegro; Corfu, Chania and Nafplion in Greece; before arriving in Piraeus (Athens). All-inclusive fares start from US$4,350 per person, double occupancy.

 

Silversea's fares include all-suite accommodation with butler service; gourmet meals with menus designed by Relais & Ch'teaux, complimentary wines, Champagne and spirits served throughout the ship, and all gratuities.
