Explore's eight-day Highlights of Serbia itinerary offers an insight into Serbia, one of Europe's least known, yet highly accessible destinations.

Travellers will have the opportunity to learn about the Serbia's recent and ancient history by exploring both Belgrade, the capital, and Novi Sad, the country's second largest city. There is also the opportunity to:

• Ride the historic narrow-gauge Sargan 8 Railway through stunning mountain scenery
• Visit King Peter's home in Topola
• Explore the wild beauty of Tara National Park
• See how rakia, Serbia's traditional fruit brandy, is distilled
