Experience Mesa City Limitless

Visit Mesa

(MESA, Ariz.) – Visit Mesa destination marketing officials unveiled a fresh, in-demand Arizona experience: Mesa City Limitless. The new campaign for this vibrant Southwestern hub, the 38th largest city in the country, is focused on regional exploration and outdoor adventure, and now invites this year's IPW attendees to experience Mesa through video and a re-designed website featuring an assortment of travel lifestyles.

“Mesa, Arizona is at a competitive advantage in the Phoenix marketplace,” said Visit Mesa President and CEO Marc Garcia. “We have all the major hotel brands represented in our city, we have new tourism product to announce at this year's tradeshow, and our Southwest location is ideal with access to lakes and rivers that are part of the most visited urban forest in the country.”

IPW attendees were introduced to Mesa City Limitless last year when the brand was announced in Las Vegas. Now, Visit Mesa has produced a compelling new destination video for attendees to view available on YouTube. Produced and directed by Los Angeles-based Face Head Media and edited by brand manager Mindset Inc., the three minute destination video connects Arizona's authentic travel experiences with the consumer planning vacations to Arizona. The video showcases unique travel experiences such as wake-boarding at Saguaro Lake, hiking the Superstition Mountains, and enjoying Mesa's regional restaurants, hotel amenities, and nightlife activities.

Mesa, Ariz. recently opened Cubs Park, the newest Major League Baseball spring training stadium for the Chicago Cubs, which has garnered national acclaim and set new Cactus League attendance records. The city also announced two new hotel developments slated for 2015 including the Riverview Hotel, a Starwood property, which will begin construction in April. This full-service, resort-style property will feature 180 rooms and a 16,000-square-foot conference center along with a pool and enhanced water recreation amenities. The hotel will be located at the center of the 140-acre visitor development project near Cubs Park, which includes the new Mesa Riverview Park. Additional retail development is proposed for the hotel site over the next three years.

In addition, the city of Mesa announced a new Courtyard by Marriott Hotel adjacent to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. The 99-room property is designed for business and leisure travelers. The new hotel rooms feature desks, couches, complimentary Internet access, and daily breakfast. The hotel will also feature the Courtyard Bistro, a full-service restaurant.
