Neerlands Goed (Historic Dutch Country Estates and Farmhouses), an initiative of some 50 Dutch entrepreneurs, offers comfortable lodging in centuries-old farmhouses, inns, mills and even churches and parsonages throughout Holland. Each property offers its own unique aspects and has its specific comforts. With properties dating back to 1664, experience the Middle Ages in the 21st century.
Neerlands Goed aims to improve historic knowledge of the Netherlands by showing visitors the past. Since the Netherlands is only a tiny country (crossing east to west takes less than 1 hours), almost every Neerlands Goed member provides a perfect base for visiting famous cities and attractions the country is known form e.g. Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, Utrecht, the Keukenhof flower gardens (open in Spring) and the windmills at Zaanse Schans and Kinderdijk.
Neerlands Goed offers unique accommodations in the provinces of Friesland, Noord-Holland and Brabant, and soon also in Groningen and Zuid-Holland. All accommodations are unique and different but what they all have in common is that they are situated in the beautiful, rustic countryside. All rooms are spacious and meet modern standards, e.g. all have their own bathroom, comparable to 3 or 4-star hotel classification. All accommodations offer bed and breakfast. Some offer special meal plans, other locations have facilities to prepare your own meal.
Enjoy discovering Neerlands Goed! Reservations and further information (check for special rates and events) can be obtained through www.neerlandsgoed.nl
