Exhibitors, Buyers and Visiting Media Agree: This Year's Luxperience Venue Was the Best One Yet

Luxperience

Feedback following this year's Luxperience tourism exchange has been overwhelmingly positive, with exhibitors, buyers and media all agreeing that the event venue was the best one yet.

Delegates attending Luxperience 2014 were captivated by the stylish transformation of this year's show which was held in the heritage listed venue Pier 2 & 3 at Walsh Bay, Sydney Harbour.

“This unique venue required a bold visionary design which was executed for us by Decorative Events & Exhibitions,” said CEO Lindy Andrews.

“Decorative Events answered our brief for something 'never seen before' and delivered a brand new exhibition concept, with 'custom made meeting suites' which provided exhibitors with privacy, high end furniture and ingenious branding options.”

The many show features and large custom stands also left attendees spellbound, ensuring the luxury show juxtaposed charmingly against the architecturally spectacular and rustic space.

“I've had lots of compliments from visiting media and buyers on how stunning the venue is. The exhibitors really have been showcased very well.”

Breath taking crystal chandeliers dressed the aisles.  Spectacular floral arrangements and large black glass chandlers flanked the arrival area.  Hundreds of contemporary exposed bulbs were suspended in the ceiling and illuminated the individual meeting suites with a warm glow. The furnishings and decorative accessories were sophisticated and individually styled to best represent each destination.

“Designing and installing Luxperience 2014 has been the most exciting project I have personally been involved with. Our creative team worked solidly on the project for the past 12 months from the initial concept to this week's installation. We were so excited to have been given the opportunity to work with such luxury brands and to witness the success of the show,” said Decorative Events Mark Magennis.

Special mention to the Tourism New Zealand Buyers and Media lounge, decorated to look like a country garden, with a putting range in one corner and giant 3-dimensional map of New Zealand opposite the bar.

The 3D map had iPad consoles positioned around it, locating regional features and exhibiting tourism operators. Tourism New Zealand representative Ariane Kuebler said that the map had sparked interest with buyers, some of whom had researched product on the iPads and then sought out exhibitors to meet with.

Decorative Events & Exhibitions are looking forward to working closely with the Luxperience team and exhibitors to deliver another successful show in 2015.
