Exciting New Luxury Experiences Added to the Line-Up at the Twelve Apostles

The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa

The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa is thrilled to announce the opening of The Apostles Braai.  Complementing, the existing two restaurants, The Café Grill and Azure, the new eatery set amid lush indigenous gardens, has been custom-built on a timber deck overlooking the rock pool at the rear of the hotel.  With the imposing Twelve Apostles mountain range as the backdrop, the 32-seater room, boasting sea, mountain and sunset views, is open to the public for private functions and special events, as well as an ideal venue for Master Classes and cooking demonstrations.

The timber and glass enclosure offering spectacular mountain views, is distinctive in style and the menu, takes the art and enjoyment of grill/barbeque, so loved by South Africans, to new heights. It's a striking space of mirrored walls and picture windows allowing natural light and panoramic views to wash in. A handcrafted blue and white Murano glass chandelier hangs in the center of the room, with handblown Biot glassware from Provence gracing the tables.  The elegant white cane chairs and tables, are the perfect palette to feature the 'West Palm Blue' upholstery from USA supplier, Thibaut.

In tandem with the opening of The Apostles Braai, the hotel's Helipad has been re-opened following a substantial upgrade. A wide range of food, accommodation and heli-flight packages, are on offer to make the most of this special service in partnership with NAC Helicopters Cape Town.

With Summer on the way, the hotel's superb position is perfect for Picnics!  Proposals, family gatherings, special occasions all call for a celebration out of the ordinary, which The Twelve Apostles is renowned for.

Taking full advantage of its exceptional location and unique environment  The Twelve Apostles has also added a new adventure experience for guests (no need to be a hotel resident).  The Fynbos Trail is a 3km guided hiking trail, leading directly from the hotel and heading into the Table Mountain National Park. The walk takes approximately 60 minutes, finishing at the River crossing where dry snacks and a refreshing drink are served, before walkers return to one of the restaurants to enjoy their chosen culinary experience. So pull on your walking shoes and head for the hills at The Twelve Apostles!
