The hotel's feng shui inspired I-Spa is also offering a special Mother's Day Spa Package, which is available throughout the month of May.

On May 11th, treat mom and the family to a memorable lunch or dinner at one of the hotel's celebrated restaurants, which include three Michelin starred restaurants --- Yan Toh Heen and THE STEAK HOUSE winebar + grill (1-star each) and SPOON by Alain Ducasse (2-stars). Alternatively, for an innovative new style Japanese dining experience, dine at NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong or Harbourside, which isacclaimed for its spectacular buffets. The Lobby Lounge which provides a stunning panorama for Afternoon Tea.

SPOON Mother's Day Brunch

The 2-Michelin star SPOON by Alain Ducasse offers a sophisticated, yet relaxed family style dining experience for Mother's Day Lunch with traditional French regional delicacies created by SPOON Executive Chef Philippe Duc.

Select from two buffet areas – one showcasing Breakfast Favourites with freshly baked breads, croissants and condiments; the other featuring  Country French “Campagnard” style items including traditional French terrines (such as duck foie gras and paté en croute), marinated salmon, cured ham sliced from the bone and a selection of gourmet French cheeses with condiments. Then, select a main course from the á la carte menu (Roasted Beef with onion, carrots & red wine sauce; a Cookpot of local market fruit and vegetables; Atlantic Cod with clams & pomme de mer or Rack of Lamb with seasonal vegetables “gratin:).  Finally, save room for the Dessert Buffet located in the SPOON Pastry Kitchen with a selection of homemade pastries and sweets.   SPOON Sunday Brunch is inclusive of a glass of sparkling wine, followed by wine with lunch (with a choice of 2 white wines and 2 red wines selected by Chief Sommelier Mathieu Ginglardi), plus fresh juices and freshly brewed coffee or tea.

Enjoy a 6-course set dinner HK$1,688 per person created by SPOON Executive Chef Philippe Duc showcasing Chilled Consommé of Lobster-Caviar, Green Asparagus and Morels with ''Arbois'' yellow

Wine, Dover Sole with mesclun and artichoke, Farm-raised Veal with sautéed baby vegetables, Fontainbleau Strawberries served in their juice, and finally, for dessert, Hazelnut-Chocolate.

SPOON Sommelier Mathieu Ginglardi has prepared a wine pairing option at HK$988 + 10% service per person.

Mother's Day Champagne Brunch

Free-flowing Perrier-Jouet Champagne, wine, beer, fresh juices and soft drinks are just the start of Hong Kong's most elaborate Mother's Day Brunch, with hand-made sushi and freshly sliced sashimi, lobster, “action stations” with Peking duck, pan-fried Foie Gras, Asian dishes, home-made Indian curries, Chinese noodles and Italian pasta, a carving station and freshly made dim sum. The buffet also includes a selection of the finest ham and salami from Italy and Spain and imported cheese from France.

A decadent dessert buffet includes hot soufflés, crepes made-to-order and a chocolate fountain, plus an extravagant assortment of freshly baked pastries and cakes.

Each mother will presented with a 15g jar of Caviar to be enjoyed with a special scrambled egg & crouton dish.

NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong presents two special Preserved Floral Arrangement Classes with Naomi Suzuki 鈴木直美, a Japanese floral designer and owner of “With Love - Preserved Flower Arrangements”. (www.withlove.com.hk / Facebook.com/withlovehk). Preserved flowers are live flowers that are preserved through a special organic chemical process, and do not require watering. They are fresh and soft in texture like freshly cut flowers, but unlike fresh flowers, they last a long time.

Learn to make your own unique preserved floral arrangement using Roses, Carnations, Haze Grass and Hydrangea. The class includes a light breakfast and a 6-course NOBU lunch inclusive of soft drinks at HK$1,188+10% service per person. Class participants will receive a 10% discount on food consumption on Mother's Day, May 11th.

The NOBU Mother's Day dinner menu features Lobster Sashimi with white asparagus, caviar & kimizu sauce; Nodoguro Sashimi with truffle & sakura, Norwegian King Crab Salad with mitsuba pesto, Roasted Sea Bass with Karashisu miso, U.S. Prime Tenderloin with port wine teriyaki. Next is a sushi assortment and clear soup, followed by Yoghurt Panna Cotta with chamomile peach sorbet and oatmeal crumble.

Mother's Day Dinner

The 4-course set dinner menu by STEAK HOUSE Chef Calvin Choi at HK$1,388 per person begins with an appetiser sampler featuring Warm Sea Bass & Lobster Roll with Red Bell Pepper, Deep-fried Boston Lobster Cake and Cold Tomato Custard with Meilo Meilo Tomato. This is followed by your choice of either Charcoal grilled Australian G9 Wagyu Striploin with Gratin Hokkaido Scallop or Grilled Wild Catch Alaskan Halibut Fillet with Gratin Prawns.

For dessert, Executive Pastry Chef Cyril Dupuis has created a spectacular dessert called “White Pearls” consisting of layers of delicate Earl Grey Tea Cream and Vanilla Sponge Cake with an Almond, Hazelnut & Earl Grey Tea Biscuit, served with Fresh Pear Sorbet. This stunning dessert features carmelized watermelon seeds and decorative chocolate flowers and petals

Bring the family to the recently renovated Yan Toh Heen to sample the acclaimed 1- Michelin star Cantonese cuisine of Executive Chef Lau Yiu Fai.

At lunchtime, select from a choice of 6-course set lunch menus (at either HK$468 or HK$768 per person).

Alternatively enjoy the extensive à la carte selections (with an HK$300 minimum charge per person).

1st seating: 11:30am – 1:30pm / 2nd seating: 1:45pm – 3:00pm

 

Mother's Day Dinner

Chef Lau is creating a special 8-course Cantonese feast (for a minimum of four persons) priced at HK$1,088, HK$1,188 and HK$1,488 per person (depending on the choice of soups which include Double Boiled Matsutake Mushrooms and Cabbage, Scallops & Asparagus with Fungus in Chicken Broth or Double Boiled Fish Maw & Sea Cucumber).The menu begins with Crab Roll with Black Truffle and Marinated Cucumber with Apple Vinegar. Following the choice of soups is Simmered Boston Lobster with Yellow Fungus in Supreme Broth. Next is Steamed Eastern Star Garoupa, Crispy Chicken Flavoured with Golden Garlic, Braised Japanese Mushrooms with Conpoy and Baby Cabbage and Fried Rice with Seafood, Yunnan Ham and Celery. For dessert, enjoy Sweetened Walnut Cream with Hokkaido Milk in Whole Pumpkin and a Crispy Coconut Dumpling with Bird's Nest.
