London, 31 July, 2017 – This October, ground-breaking cruise brand U by Uniworld will be taking five lucky winners and their travel companion on U's first ever “sneak peek” river cruise along the Seine! The brand, which is the only company offering luxurious river cruise experiences for 21-45 year olds, has launched a competition offering five lucky Millennials the chance to be amongst the first people to experience this game-changing holiday style, and to make history as a new generation is welcomed to river cruising for the first time.

U combines the luxurious river cruising experience for which parent company, the Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection is known, with the Millennial travel expertise from sister brands Contiki and Busabout. U's ships deliver an onboard experience akin to staying in a luxury European boutique hotel – with a lounge on the deck overlooking the waterways of Europe, two bars to sip on signature cocktails and craft beers, a coffee bar to grab a caffeine fix before exploring, and a gym to keep up fitness regimes. Staying onboard a floating boutique hotel makes it extra-easy to visit several European destinations in a single trip while only having to unpack once, and an exciting programme of carefully curated onboard and shore based activities and excursions bring each city to life.

For a chance to be amongst the first to cruise with U, entrants aged 21-45 need to make a 30 second video or photo collage explaining why they should be the first to 'make history with U' and join the exclusive sneak peek cruise in October. Entrants must post the video or collage to Instagram, YouTube or the U by Uniworld Facebook page, tagging @ubyuniworld and #MakeHistoryWithU. The competition closes on Tuesday 1 August 2017 and the winners will be selected by U by Uniworld's advisory board.  

U by Uniworld's fully refitted ships, The A and The B, will begin full departures in Spring 2018 and offer longer stays in Europe's most exciting cities, as well as an abundance of onboard activities and immersive, authentic entertainment; think farm-to-table dining, exclusive sets from local onboard DJs, silent discos, mixology classes and late night cycles through the streets of Paris.
