Singles Week: 7 – 14 February, Brides-les-Bains
Brides-les-Bains is the place to be for single skiers and boarders, from 7 February…to maybe find a Valentine for the 14th of February! During Singles Week, Brides-les-Bains offers discounts on accommodation, and many activities for single people: an opening evening 'Brisez la Glace' to start the week, dinners in the resort's restaurants mixing single people at the same tables, and groups can ski together, each morning departing from the Olympe gondola.
50th Birthdays
Les Menuires/ Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Les Portes du Soleil and Plaine-Joux (the ski area of Passy) are all 50 years old. They will celebrate their half century with entertainments and activities all winter.
New event in La Plagne: 4 – 17 April
La Plagne is taking spring skiing to a new level! Six summits over 2,000m will be transformed:
The Bécoin will become a sandy beach with deckchairs, beach huts, DJs and shows and L'Arpette will be transformed into a relaxing area with Taï Chi lessons, massages, a Jacuzzi and a sauna, with classical music in the background.
Grand Rochette will become a mini Lapland with deer and dogs from Lapland.
Roche de Mio will delight adrenaline addicts with a ski diving simulator, a slack line and a bungy jump. Fornelet will have a hut full of sweets, and activities for children and La Rossa will hold an art exhibition
Les ArcSpring Final: 11 – 24 April, Les Arcs
The resort offers many activities in April: slackline, ride'n golf, beach party at the waterslide, freestyle shows and concerts on the slopes. Spring skiing is fun in Les Arcs!
Défi Foly: 25 – 26 April, La Clusaz
Since 1987, this event attracts every year over 150 mad riders who try to cross the Confins Lake in La Clusaz on skis, snowboard, monoski or other inventive ways to ride the water!

5th Rock the Pistes Festival: 15 – 21 March, Avoriaz
The Rock de Pistes is a unique festival in Europe where concerts are taking place on the slopes, all over the Portes du Soleil. After Babyshambles, Keziah Jones, Shaka Ponk and Cali, the 2015 Rock the Pistes will be hot too!
New! Concerts Sauvages: 28 March – 5 April, Flaine
Concerts Sauvages is a week of free concerts on the slopes at lunch time and in the resort at the après-ski. The exact location will be revealed each day at the last minute.

Swatch Freeride World Tour: 24 January, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc
The world's best freeriders compete on the Pentes de l'Hotel face, on the Brevent side of the valley. This is a spectacular show to watch and there is a great atmosphere in town during the event, with live music, parties and entertainments.
Bobsleigh World Cup: 26 January – 1st February, La Plagne
The Olympic Bobsleigh run will host the World Cup, with competitors from over 20 countries.
Ice Climbing World Cup: 5 – 7 February, Champagny-en-Vanoise
Watch the world's best ice climber in Champagny. Last year, the resort hosted over 100 competitors from 19 different countries.
Ski Cross and Moguls World Cup Finals
11 – 15 March, Megève
Freestyle is part of Megève's DNA! The resort will host the world's best freestylers for the Ski Cross World Cup final and the Moguls Wold Cup Final.
30th Pierra Menta: 12 – 15 March, Arêches-Beaufort
The Pierra Menta is a legendary ski alpinism, or ski mountaineering, race, which has been taking place in Arêches-Beaufort, France's capital of ski alpinism, for 30 years. During 4 days, 200 teams of two will compete in this challenging race, with a total of 10,000m of uphill vertical. The race is open to professionals and non-professionals alike.
Alpine Skiing World Cup Finals: 18 – 22 March, Méribel
The resort is proud to host the Ladies and Men Alpine Skiing World Cup Finals.
