EVA Air joined other participants from the Taiwanese community at The Lord Mayor's Show on Saturday to show their support and strong connections with the City of London. 50 members of the Taiwanese Community took part in the procession, including EVA Air employees, Taiwanese students, Ours Travel employees and the Taiwanese Embassy. The Taiwanese Community's entry saw three colourful Buddhas leading three huge balloons: Oh Bear (the Taiwan Tourism Bureau's mascot); an EVA Air plane and a cube bearing the Taiwan Tourism Bureau's logo and branding.

Charlie Pan, General Manager at EVA Air, said “We had a great time at the Lord Mayor's Show and the atmosphere was fantastic. It is great to see so many people turn out to support the Lord Mayor, and our balloons definitely drew an exciting reaction from the crowds. This was a great platform for us to raise awareness of our award-winning airline in the UK market. “

Wenku Hsu, Taiwanese Community, said “There's a great connection between the Taiwanese community and the City of London and we really wanted to show our support to the Lord Mayor and the capital at this fantastic event. We're keen to facilitate further relations between the Taiwan Trade Office and the City of London, and we feel it is really important to participate in important events such as this.”
