EVA Air, West Ham United's Official Airline Partner, has put the aviation skills of three of the Club's first-team stars to the test.
Defenders Ryan Fredericks and Pablo Zabaleta and forward Michail Antonio were invited by Taiwan's leading independent airline to test their mettle in the EVA Air Flight Simulator Challenge, which saw them pilot the landing of three simulated Boeing 777 300ERs.
The trio were tasked with making final approaches into three simulated airports – Brisbane, Taipei and Bangkok – competing against one another to achieve the highest landing score, marked on navigation, path of descent and, of course, touchdown.
While Antonio was confident beforehand, “I'm going to be the best – I am the best!”, there could only be one winner on the day. The simulator experiences of Fredericks, Zabaleta and Antonio got on manning their virtual aircraft in the video above.was captured on video and can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYShGdz3uh8&feature=youtu.be
