Rail Europe has released a couple of promotions to celebrate the onset of the European summer and Thalys' 20th anniversary.

From 31 May to 13 June 2016, bookings made on the Lyria routes between Paris and Geneva, Lausanne, Neuchatel, Vallorbe, Bern, Zurich and Basel will enjoy one-way tickets from AUD55, upgradable to 1st class from AUD15. Travel is valid between 1 July and 28 August 2016.

To celebrate Thalys' 20th year, travellers booking their journeys with this by 9 June will enjoy fares starting from AUD30. Eligible routes for this promotion include those linking Paris to Belgium, Germany and The Netherlands; Belgium to Germany and The Netherlands; and between Lille and The Netherlands. Travel must be completed between 1 July and 31 August 2016.
