Specialist travel company, Essential Italy is delighted to have won a British Travel Award for 'Best Small Tour Operator to the Italian Peninsular and Malta'. The Halloween themed British Travel Awards 2013 were held on Thursday, 31 October at the Battersea Evolution in Battersea Park, London with a glittering gala dinner.
The British Travel Awards is the largest consumer voted awards programme in the UK created to reward the best companies in travel. Recognised by consumers and travel professionals throughout the UK, The British Travel Awards are widely referred to as the "Oscars" of the travel industry and are easily the most recognisable of all travel industry accolades amongst consumer and industry professionals alike.
Co-Directors Helen Forbes and Sarah Sharland attended the ceremony and were thrilled to win the award for the second consecutive year. Helen Forbes said, 'We were thrilled to win this award last year, and to win again has reinforced to us that our customers like what we do.
