Essential Detail Embarks on its Annual Roadshow, Announces a New Team Member & Launches a New Website

Essential Detail, one of the UK's leading representation companies, is to embark on its annual roadshow which sees some of its hotel clients come over from the Caribbean to meet with the trade and consumers to update them on the latest developments in their boutique properties.  The Roadshow takes place between 23rd - 27th May, and will feature a trade evening in Tunbridge Wells, travel agent brunches in Esher and Windsor, as well as a Gala Awards dinner for tour operators at the exclusive Browns Hotel in Mayfair. Client evenings in conjunction with trade partners will also take place in London and Poole. Hotel clients joining the Roadshow are:

Little Good Harbour & The Atlantis, Barbados;  Bequia Beach Hotel, Bequia, The Grenadines; Curtain Bluff & South Point , Antigua; East Winds, St Lucia;  Jamaica Inn & Sandy Haven, Jamaica.

Essential Detail is committed to working closely with the trade and constantly strives to build upon its strong relationship with the UK travel trade. Helen Edwards, one of the Directors said, “The UK travel trade are such an instrumental part of our business and we value working with such committed and passionate travel professionals. All of our properties are so unique, so we appreciate and like to reward those companies and individuals who take the time to get to know our hotels, so that they can recommend them to their clients.”

This month Essential Detail is also welcoming a new member to its team – Patricia Charlery-Leon, who will assume the role of Head of Product & Marketing. Patricia joins the team after holding senior positions at the St Lucia Tourist Board, the CTO and having consulted on a number of projects.  Patricia has almost 20 years' of marketing experience and is excited about embarking on her new role. “Essential Detail has earned itself a reputation of working hard for its clients and delivering results that have resulted in a strong UK following for the properties they represent. I look forward to being part of a team that can further enhance its relationships with the trade,  as well as delivering further growth from the UK market.”

A new website has been launched this week by Essential Detail at www.essentialdetail.co.uk, which has useful tools to help travel agents and tour operators sell Essential Detail's hotels. Property manuals, maps, images and special offers can all be downloaded with ease, and travel agents can also apply to join the 'ED Agent Rewards Programme', which provides agents with benefits for themselves, as well as their clients, if they book an Essential Detail Hotel.
