After more than two years of planning and construction, MV EPICURE I has officially been launched. The vessel was welcomed into the Sydney Harbour waters at a star-studded event in 2014 and now lays claim to being one of Australia's most unique event venues. The soiree showcased the versatility and beauty of MV EPICURE I as an event and conferencing space, with the breathtaking backdrop of Sydney's famous and most cherished landmarks; the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.

A luxury, floating vessel requires a very different approach to a normal venue. EPICURE's dedicated team of experts not only include chefs, management, wait staff and bartenders, but also skippers, crew and vessel staff to facilitate the sail. There are also many additional procedures and policies that are adhered to in order to make events run smoothly and efficiently, with safety of paramount importance.

An architecturally designed space, the glass exterior houses a wrap-around balcony, offering a captivating 360-degree view of the Sydney harbor. Its modular design provides a large, flexible event space, which includes a commercial galley, corporate suites, green rooms, informal lounges and a Sky Deck with an 80-person capacity. Its blend of larger spaces and smaller, private rooms - which can be used exclusively for VIPs and special guests - demonstrates just how unique the venue is. One of the most exciting aspects of MV EPICURE I is the state of the art commercial full-size kitchen in which the highest quality dishes with local ingredients are prepared for guests.

MV EPICURE II is a second, smaller vessel, which also began operating on Sydney Harbour late last year, just in time for the festive season. Both luxury vessels were kept busy day and night cruising the harbour during the festive period. MV EPICURE I on New Year's Eve was one of the most luxurious boats on the harbour ensuring guests had a sensational view of the fireworks whilst enjoying a decadent five course dinner accompanied by boutique wines and dancing to a five piece band. Enquiries have already been received for New Year's Eve 2015.

The corporate market has already engaged MV EPICURE I to play host to a variety of events in 2015. Event organisers have recognised MV EPICURE I as an ideal venue for conference and corporate events. The fully integrated state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities and flexible meeting spaces, with no obstructions to the panoramic harbour views, are a welcome new selling point in their search for the perfect venue.
