[13 August 2019] Pettitts Travel have announced a new tailor-made self-drive journey that links Seattle with Las Vegas and includes visits to some of the region’s best-known national parks. ‘Self-Drive: Yellowstone and the National Parks of Western USA’ traverses the US states of Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Nevada, travelling south through dramatic mountain scenery, remote volcanic landscapes and barren desert to showcase the very best of this under-explored region. Highlights of the itinerary include the glacier-carved peaks, valleys and lakes of Montana’s Glacier National Park, the multi-coloured springs and geysers of Yellowstone National Park, the striking red rock formations at Capitol Reef National Park and the wild expanses of Zion National Park in Utah. The itinerary begins in Seattle and concludes in Las Vegas where there will be ample time to explore both of these fabulous cities.
