The restaurant offers a delicious choice of homemade cuisine, prepared with love and expertise by the resident chef. Organic fruit and vegetables are used as much as possible whilst all sauces and jams are homemade and especially prepared. The menu is designed to reflect the flavours of tasteful, Algarvian cuisine and each week (from June until September) a magnificent “Churrasco” BBQ is held showcasing the very best local produce. Here guest can savour a veritable banquet of meats, seafood and vegetarian fare not to mention a vast selection of traditional and exotic salads and vegetables that make this a truly memorable evening not to be missed.

 The herb garden boasts many varieties of culinary herbs which add beautiful scents to the gardens and flavours to the kitchen. The Rose Garden is a cottage-garden delight with its scattered rose bushes and ornamental stones, whilst colourful poppies, wild cactus, bright sunflowers and exotic palms make the gardens a living canvas. Antique pots of bright flowers, beautiful shell fountains and a natural pool complement this truly romantic setting.

A full variety of activities to suit any taste can be arranged, from horse riding experiences at the nearby Quinta do Paraíso Alto, an English run riding school; to a guided walk to explore the beautiful countryside on foot along trails throughout the pristine nature of the Algarvian inland and across the Monchique Mountains. Anything, from golf with guaranteed tee times at leading surrounding courses to surfing lessons on the nearby pristine beach of the Meia Praia can be arranged to suit the wishes of the guests.
