Lockdown has kept us indoors long enough, it’s time for families to reclaim adventure and have a wild night out with YHA (England & Wales).
YHA’s Wild Night Out, from 16 – 18 July, is a chance to channel your inner Bear Grylls, have fun and re-connect with the with big outdoors!
YHA is partnering with Explorer’s Connect and bringing Wild Night Out to four YHA Camping and Cabins sites: YHA Grinton Lodge in North Yorkshire, YHA Truleigh Hill in Shoreham by Sea, YHA Windermere in the Lake District and YHA Wye Valley.
And there’s discounted camping for anyone who can’t make it to one of the special Wild Night Out events.
Each of the four Wild Night Out locations has organised an outdoor adventure itinerary that will keep the whole family entertained on Saturday 17 July.
Enjoy a night under the stars in either your own tent or onsite camping accommodation. On Saturday, take part in activities like bush craft, den building and guided walks then enjoy a hearty dinner and sit around a campfire listing to stories from ex SAS majors and adventures.
You can bring your own tent or ‘glamp’ in one of the supercool onsite cabins, Airstreams, tipis or safari tents from just £51 per person including all activities, an evening meal on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday morning too.
You can also make a full weekend of it and book the Friday night too for just an extra £10 if you’re camping or £20 if you’re glamping.
Wild Night Out - Britain’s National night of adventure - was set up by Explorers Connect in 2016 to highlight the positive impact that adventure has on people’s lives. Each year, for one night, they invite people to take on a new adventure whilst raising money for charity.
Wild Night Out at YHA is all about enjoying a fabulous family-friendly camping and outdoor experience. Get ready to toast marshmallows over open fires whilst taking in stunning views of lakes and rivers. A time to experience and enjoy a magical night under the stars.
