London, 23rd October 2019 - Mallorca Tourism Board is hosting its first London event at Hispania London on the 4th November, showcasing the sensual, seasonal delights of this bountiful island for one night only.
Ideal for autumnal getaways whether your interests are sporting, cultural or late-sun-seeking, the Island has long been a firm summer favourite with discerning celebrities and Brits alike - but the scents, tastes and sounds of the season will be the stars of the show on the 4th November.
On arrival guests will be immersed in the very air of Mallorca itself, as edible pine bubbles and the taste of the salty sea air envelop them. Inside, guests will also enjoy the scents of citrus groves, olives and almonds, beneath atmospheric lighting reflecting the starlit skies for which the island is renowned at this time of year.
Traditional Mallorcan tapas interpreted by Michelin-starred chef Marcos Moran and prepared by resident chef Javier Agustin will be presented to guests throughout the evening, with award-winning local wines accompanying the dishes.
Masterchef Spain winner and native Mallorcan Vicky Pulgarin, now an acclaimed caterer, will be hosting cookery food demos throughout the evening.
All attendees will receive a gift as well as the opportunity to take part in a prize draw to win one of three long weekends in Mallorca.
The iconic venue is acclaimed restaurant Hispania part of the historic Lloyds of London building, updated by designer and antique dealer Lorenzo Castillo to embody the spirit of elegant, contemporary Spain.
