Following the Government announcement that the hospitality industry can open their doors and welcome visitors again, Michael Paul Holidays has been working with their operators to prepare for increased demand this summer.
Recent research by Michael Paul Holidays indicates that 85% of holidaymakers are planning to stay closer to home and will opt for self-catering establishments over hotels. There was also a shift in terms of what people were looking to do whilst on holiday such as outdoor leisure pursuits that can be done without interaction, including walking (75%), sightseeing (73%), visiting the beach (73%) and exploring the countryside (63%).
Michael Paul Holidays has been taking advice from leading accreditation expert, Quality in Tourism regarding cleaning best practice and guidelines. Michael Paul Holidays will be working with their property owners to share best practice information and guidance to assist them in their re-opening plans.
With properties within the portfolio still having availability for this summer, Michael Paul Holidays offers a variety of holiday parks, lodges and cottages for your summer 'safecation'.
