Head to where it all began - St Andrews

St Andrews in Scotland will always remain a romantic place for Kate and Wills as it is where they first met and the Fairmont St Andrews Hotel played a starring role in the future of the young royals.

Prince Williams was a regular visitor to the hotel, but it is the hotel ballroom that was the setting for the now infamous evening when Kate Middleton appeared in that sheer black lace dress for a charity fashion show, watched by the young prince.

However, you don't need a Royal sized bank account to enjoy a romantic break here. A two night stay on bed and breakfast basis (2 sharing), including flights from London Gatwick to Edinburgh costs from just £202  per person, departing on 29 June.
