Enjoy A Love Affair With Whymperis Cottage - Sheepskin Holiday Properties New Romantic Bolthole For Two

Sheepskin

Sheepskin (www.sheepskinlife.com) has added Whymperis Cottage to its collection of award winning stylish and distinct holiday properties.  This beautifully restored 1840s Shropshire cottage is situated within walking distance of the medieval town of Much Wenlock and is the perfect base for a romantic and restful break.

Named after the Victorian Whymperis Well - said to possess healing properties and the ability to help young women find their future husband - this traditional terraced cottage is bursting with character and individual style that marries the old with the new. Original oak floorboards have been lovingly restored and the open plan living area and galleried bedroom both feature an elegant neutral decor. Locally sourced vintage design items have also
been incorporated to make this property unique.

For instance, the bathroom door was once a pub door and the kitchen stools are restored Belgian bar stools. All modern luxuries are available throughout the cottage - well equipped kitchen, two smart TVs, iPod dock and log burning stoves - and the cottage also has a delightful walled courtyard garden with outside furniture and barbeque for sunny days.

For those who enjoy a break with a wealth of interesting activities and places to visit on your doorstep, Whymperis Cottage is ideal. The high street of Much Wenlock is less than a two minute walk away and has a range of wonderful traditional, independent retailers. There is also beautiful Shropshire countryside to explore and the ancient town of Shrewsbury is just 20 minutes away. A little further afield is Ludlow, one of the finest historic towns in England with a wealth of beautiful period buildings, dramatic medieval Castle and plenty of great places to buy and enjoy local food produce.

As with all Sheepskin stays, guests at Whymperis Cottage will receive a bespoke guide to the area that is tailored to their preferences prior to their stay, as well as a special welcome hamper on arrival and hotel comforts including fluffy cotton towels and bathrobes.

Sheepskin has also recently launched its first online gift site - www.therewhenyouarrive.com - offering everything from delicious locally sourced foods, food hampers and beautiful gifts to gift vouchers andits own branded dressing gowns. Designed to enhance and complement the Sheepskin holiday experience, this new online initiative is created to make self-catering stays even more enjoyable and convenient while special pamper packages are perfect for those that may be looking for a little TLC during their holiday. Many guests stay with Sheepskin in celebration of a special occasion and the new site now gives friends and family the option to arrange for a surprise and personalised gift to be put in place before the guests' arrival.

Whymperis Cottage sleeps two people and costs £350 for three nights and £710 for seven nights. The property is also suitable for a young family with a travel cot available on request.
