Elegant Hotels Group in Barbados has launched a new meetings and incentives programme, in partnership with Caribbean destination management company, St. James Travel & Tours. For businesses eager to make their next meeting or team-building event a memorable one, Elegant Hotels Group has combined exhilarating activities and luxury accommodation with socially responsible projects to create a five-day/four-night package from just £637 per delegate.
The package is running at Elegant Hotels Group's west coast properties Tamarind and Colony Club as well as its all-inclusive properties, Turtle Beach and Crystal Cove.
Priced from $1,075* per delegate (approx. £637), the five-day/four-night rate for the Bajan Spice package includes:
- Meet and greet arrivals and transfers (including separate luggage van upon request)
- Accommodation for four nights based on two adults sharing
- Bajan Spice arrival gift in room
- Welcome dinner with live band entertainment
- Reggae beach Olympics team building event (half day)
- Individual optional activity (groups of 50 – 60 have a shortlisted choice of three activities, groups of 61+ can choose from a shortlist of four activities)
- One inter-property transfer for exchange dining at Colony Club, Tamarind or Turtle Beach
- Farewell dinner
- Return transfer
Delegates can choose from a variety of activities which they can enjoy alone including: an aerial trek, a Segway tour, hike and cave tour, full day island tour, Harrisons Cave and Flower Forest tour, Bridgetown and Mt. Gay Rum tour, catamaran cruise, Atlantis submarine tour and Blue Water Adventure ride.
Depending on the size of the group, there will be a shortlist of activities predetermined by the event's organizer from delegates' company.
For extra group activities which will contribute to the local area, event organisers can select from a range of activities which start from £39 per delegate including:
Community Centre of Attention
Give one of the community centres on the island a make-over by working with local artists to produce a mural for an external wall. This may be for a children's home or other local community building.
Be a Good Sport
Spend the day with children from the local children homes. Plan a children's party and games at one of the national parks or sports grounds.
Build-A-Bike
Armed with wrenches and enthusiasm, teams race to build children's bikes and cycle them away from the start line. The bikes will then be donated to children's homes and children in need in Barbados.
Team Teddy Bear
Participants work in small teams to earn points over a series of games and challenges. The teams then can use their points to redeem against items needed to build a cuddly teddy for children. The teddies will then be donated to children's homes and children in need in Barbados.
